It is summer school holidays here in the Netherlands!
Many will be taking time off work/study and going away. If that includes you, have a great break.
Let’s be praying for those around the world who don’t have opportunities – such as all impacted by the conflict in Ukraine (including ‘Father’s House Church in Dnipro that we are supporting as a congregation).
As a church community we will be meeting still through the summer, though not always at the school. A bit further below is a schedule of Sunday gatherings that are due.
Whether going on holiday or not, perhaps you could take some time this summer to reflect on the year so far. Maybe the following questions could be a help. It is not meant to feel like homework! If it is not a good time to be doing this, then just ignore…
- What are you grateful for? What has been going well?
- How do you see your following of Christ at present? What is one thing that you could build into your life that might help?
- How is your health doing – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, relationally? Is there anything you need to pay special attention to?
- Is there anything that you need to grieve or express disappointment about? If so, what will help you with this?
- Is there anyone or anything that you want to prioritise for the months ahead?

July
10th: Schools Out Sunday, 11.00 – service at the school. Helen speaking. Meal together afterwards, inflatables for the kids
17th: Service at the school, 11.00 (including communion) – Cor speaking
24th: Service at Vlietland lake, 11.00 – opportunity to be baptised. Andy speaking briefly. Bring your lunch and something to sit on. This service will not be livestreamed.
31st: Service at the school, 11.00 (including communion). Creig speaking
August
7th: Service at the school, 11.00 – Andy speaking
14th: Service at the school, 11.00 (including communion) – Andy speaking
21st: Service at Vlietland or the beach (location to be confirmed) Opportunity to be baptised. Andy speaking briefly. Bring your lunch and something to sit on. This service will not be livestreamed.
